Since there’s still time before Charles’ arrival, Tang Feng decided to sleep. He was surprised though that the guest room where he stayed before hadn’t change at all, even the bed sheets remained the same. When Tang Feng opened the closet, the clothes he left were still there. He asked Lu Tian Chen about this but the latter only said, “Have a good rest,” and then left.

Tang Feng, naturally, headed to the bathroom to shower before burrowing into the blankets completely naked and rolling himself into a spring roll. He soon fell into a sweet dream- the first time he got an A+ for being the best actor.

Soon, he felt someone blowing in his ear and saw that it was Charles when he peeked from one eye. Tang Feng pushed Charles away before burrowing deeper into the blankets, still half-asleep. Charles’ sight was caught on Tang Feng’s bare shoulder and after seeing Tang Feng’s hung up clothes, he deduced that this sleeping man is naked which caused his cravings for the actor so unbearable.

“Darling, it’s six thirty, get up and eat,” Charles cooed before exploiting his close proximity to Tang Feng and lowering his head to kiss the actor’s smooth shoulder. Tang Feng is slowly awakening while Charles is enjoying Tang Feng’s aromatic scent and kissing him so the actor humorously asked, “Do you plan on eating me?” In response, Charles placed a hand on Tang Feng’s blanket-wrapped waist and cursed the blanket for being too thick to touch Tang Feng. The actor then looked at Lu Tian Chen who was at the doorway and asked for Charles to be gone while Charles called Tang Feng mean.

Lu Tian Chen clearly wanted Tang Feng to be a stylish and high quality celebrity by having him in a luxurious mansion and designer clothes. The photographer, who had been rejoicing at the good shots he had been taking, was extremely delighted when Tang Feng said he’d wanted to be bolder. He started taking off his tie and doing some daring poses which made the staff members blush.

The photos from that shoot gave a new light to the actor who had been dubbed in unoriginal monikers like ‘Classical Beauty’ and ‘Gentlemanly’ due to its versatility. Tang Feng and the photographer ran around the mansion taking photos while Lu Tian Chen watched. The president thought that Tang Feng is not only a great actor but a great model as well, evident by the way he turned his charms on the moment the camera aims at him.

Said photoshoot was done in an unprecedentedly smooth rate that by noon, they were done. After the crew has taken their leave, Lu Tian Chen invited Tang Feng to stay for dinner which, unfortunately for Tang Feng, included Charles.

Embarrassed after crying in Tang Feng’s arms, Chen Ming Xu fled from the scene. Tang Feng was left not knowing exactly what had happened but he intended to corner Chen Ming Xu next time he’s free. For now, he has to settle his obligations.

In consideration of his current popularity, the drama series he had been acting in decided to move the broadcast forward on the first week since Tang Feng had returned from its supposed slot which was two months later. It paid off though since Tang Feng actually stole the limelight from the main actor, receiving many praises from critics who weren’t really into TV. This angered the main actor’s fans but those who liked Tang Feng outnumbered them. As a veteran, Tang Feng was somehow embarrassed for stealing the show from a younger actor. It’s as if he’s cheating. Xiao Yu, his manager, has nothing but praises for him though.

Aside from this, Dream Lover and True Star Training Class also maintained popularity. Many talk show hosts have expressed a desire for Tang Feng to appear in their shows but Lu Tian Chen, for fear of overexposure, calculatingly turned down such invitations.

Tang Feng asked Lu Tian Chen about this decision, saying if he wanted Tang Feng to be more popular, how come he’s refusing these shows? Lu Tian Chen replied, “Being somewhat of a mystery is appealing in a celebrity.”

“What do you think about my being mysterious?” Tang Feng asked.

Lu Tian Chen didn’t answer. Ever since Tang Feng awoken from his accident, he had always been mysterious. But he doesn’t care. Lu Tian Chen cares more about results so he won’t be investigating what has instigated this change in Tang Feng.

Tang Feng thinks that Chen Ming Xu being angry is a good thing. Angry people tend to blurt out everything without much thought. He wonders though how Chen Ming Xu is connected to the past Tang Feng. There had been no mention of him in the diaries but obviously, the two has a past.

Chen Ming Xu then proceeded to throw insults at Tang Feng, calling him a cold heartless bastard when he [Chen Ming Xu] thought Tang Feng had changed for the better. “I’m not the one bullying you,” Chen Ming Xu said, “You’re the one who begged me to let you in on my show.” Tang Feng only smiled and said he doesn’t need to appear on Chen Ming Xu’s show now and thanked the host. His reply seemed sarcastic and Chen Ming Xu looked at him like he’s a monster and noted that he speaks better than before. Due to Tang Feng’s calm attitude, Chen Ming Xu composed himself and started insulting Tang Feng again. “After hovering around Lu Tian Chen, you finally got into his good graces, eh? Should I congratulate you?” Tang Feng merely smiled. He wouldn’t let anybody get the better of him. He remarked that Chen Ming Xu must not hate Tang Feng personally if the host still allowed him to be a part of the show. After all, if you hate someone in show business, you don’t put them in your show even if only to ridicule them. Bad publicity is still publicity.

Looking on the verge of tears, Chen Ming Xu said Tang Feng is so unfair to forget everything and then change his life. He then proceeded and cried in front of Tang Feng, all the while denying that he was indeed crying. Tang Feng hugged the host which Chen Ming Xu resisted at first but then wrapped his arms around Tang Feng later on while calling him the worst person on the planet. Tang Feng listened quietly, thinking the host must have been letting out all insults that he has pent up for twenty years.

In this chapter, Tang Feng’s role in Director Li Wei’s movie is confirmed and all that’s left is the contract signing. While the film is not erotic per se, it still contains a few sex scenes which Tang Feng doesn’t mind since it’s gonna be blurry and he can use a double. Still, the contract cannot be signed without Lu Tian Chen’s permission. Filming will start in three months.

After staying in the US for five days, Lu Tian Chen and Tang Feng flew back to S City. He still has to finish his current projects before beginning the movie. While inside the plane, Tang Feng asked Lu Tian Chen why he didn’t raise arguments for the script. Lu Tian Chen merely said, “The script is daring. It may draw some criticisms, but it’ll be widely talked about. This will be a faster way for you to be known.” Tang Feng agreed with Lu Tian Chen. He wanted to not only be a box office hit, but to go down in history as a brilliant and respected actor.

Tang Feng thought Charles would be the first to greet him when he lands in S City but to his surprise, it was Chen Ming Xu who went to him and asked, “Why aren’t you appearing in my show?” Tang Feng retorted back and replied that he didn’t want to be in a show that picks on him. The chapter ended with Chen Ming Xu looking both surprised and angry which Tang Feng didn’t understand but will find out.

Lu Tian Chen and Tang Feng heads back to the hotel. Lu Tian Chen scolds Tang Feng for running off to the cafe while he waited. However, Tang Feng blames Lu Tian Chen for giving him to Charles which then caused him to be introduced to Albert, causing the latter to develop interest in him. Lu Tian Chen then promises Tang Feng that he would never send Tang Feng again to another person’s bed. Tang Feng then added, “And your bed,” causing Lu Tian Chen to respond that he didn’t become a successful businessman because he let his lower parts decide for him. Lu Tian Chen then suggested they continue pretending that Tang Feng indeed belongs to him and Charles so Albert would stop pursuing Tang Feng. Tang Feng then says, “I don’t like it.” when Lu Tian Chen said he would have to keep his hands off other people (meaning remaining celibate? hahaha). Lu Tian Chen then says it would be more difficult for him and Charles. Tang Feng looks incredulously at Lu Tian Chen. He believes Lu Tian Chen can do it but Charles without a bed partner? Anyway, it’s not a big problem yet, as Tang Feng is still a small-time actor cause Albert is still looking down on him.

This is a really short summary. Here goes:

 

Lu Tian Chen arrives at the cafe, slightly out breath. He starts an argument with Albert, going as far as to claim Tang Feng as his. While the two exchanged words, Tang Feng only sat back and watched. He picked up his phone and found that an unknown number was dialed. Curious, he called the number again and Albert’s phone rang causing the latter to smile at him while Lu Tian Chen glared and beckoned him to come forward. When he reached Lu Tian Chen’s side, the man gripped his hand and wrapped an arm around his waist, declaring Tang Feng to be his and Charles’ property:

“He doesn’t just belong to me, he belongs to Charles as well. Tang Feng belongs to the two of us.”

Albert laughed and said he would then back off. Tang Feng confronts Lu Tian Chen but the man said to go back first then talk.
